Definition

Digital Rights Management () is the use of keys and certificates to authorize playback of a stream to a specific user and/or device over streaming like OTT. DRM provides a mechanism to distribute content keys securely, to specify rules for the use of those keys, and to ensure that content decryption and processing is executed in a secure environment.
