Definition is an industry organization focused on providing an identity system and a consistent set of naming conventions for advertising assets. By creating a registry of unique IDs associated with information about advertising creatives, the system can function in a manner similar to how your driver’s license number can be used to pull your driving record. An Ad-ID code can be used to pull additional information about the advertisement, like the title, length, and product information.
