Definition

A time in digital content where ad insertions–or replacements or deletions of existing baked-in ads–can occur without the action impacting the underlying entertainment programming. An Ad Break can be of varying lengths and can be placed at any point in the content (pre, mid, or post). An Ad Break typically consists of a start time and an end time or a duration, and it is typically associated with a specific entertainment program.
